ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, JUNE 27, 2005

FELONIOUS ASSAULT:

5800 blk. of Duke St. 06-25/ 5:23 p.m. The victim, a 46-year-old female resident of North Carolina, was crossing the parking lot at the Landmark Mall when a van struck her in the leg. The suspect, described as a white male, was driving a blue van. The victim was in a crosswalk and the motorist momentarily stopped and the victim yelled at the driver. The suspect then proceeded and struck the victim as she crossed the street. The suspect then drove away. The victim did not require medical assistance and police are following up on this case.

BURGLARY:

5800 blk. of Fillmore Ave. 05-27/ 8:00 a.m. - 06-24/ 11:00 a.m. Someone entered the residence without force and stole liquor.

1504 Mt. Vernon Ave. 06-25/ 3:27 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through the roof. Once inside, the suspect stole money.

Unit blk. of S. Bragg St. 06-24/ between 6:45 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Someone entered the hotel room without force and stole money.

99 Canal Center Plz. 06-22/ 4:00 p.m. - 06-24/ 11:00 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means and stole computers.

200 blk. of N. Patrick St. 06-24/ between 7:50 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole money and a drivers license from a purse.

4646 Seminary Rd. 06-26/ 11:35 p.m. School security notified police regarding an alarm at a school. As police arrived on the scene, they observed suspects fleeing from the school and gave chase. Three out of five suspects were apprehended and arrested. Suspect # 1, a 17-year-old male City resident, was charged with Statutory Burglary and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. Suspect # 2, a 16-year-old male North Carolina resident, was charged with Statutory Burglary. Suspect # 3, a 16-year-old male City resident, was charged with Trespassing. This case is still being investigated as police attempt to identify the remaining two suspects.
