ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

Unit blk. of Montgomery St. 07-14/ between 3:00 a.m. and 3:11 a.m. The victim, a 66-year-old Alexandria man, was walking his dogs when he encountered four subjects. One asked him for change and the second approached him from behind and struck him. He was forced to the ground and the suspects punched and kicked him. They then robbed him, going through his pockets and obtaining some items, but no money. The suspects then fled. The victim suffered a laceration to his head and some abrasions. He was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital for treatment. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 20-30, 5'10"-6', 200-220 lbs., and wearing dark pants and no shirt. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 20-30, 5'10"-6', and 160-180 lbs. Suspect #3 is described as a black female, 20-40, 5'5"-5'7", and 120-130 lbs., and Suspect #4 is described as a black female, 20-40, 5'5"-5'7", 115-120 lbs., and wearing a white blouse and denim skirt.
4300 blk. of Taney Ave. 07-14/ between 3:22 a.m. and 3:27 a.m. The victim, a 30-year-old Alexandria man, was walking home when he was approached by five subjects. They began to hit him on his back and one of them demanded the victim's money. Another suspect removed money from the victim's pocket before fleeing. The victim ran to a nearby gas station and called police. He was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital for treatment of injuries to his back. The suspects are described as black males, ages 18-21. Two were wearing black pants and black shirts and three were wearing blue jeans and white t-shirts.
