ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FRIDAY, JULY 22, 2005



ROBBERY:

Intersection of n. Ripley St and Holmes Run Pkwy. 07-21/ 11:30 p.m. The victim, a 33-year-old male Washington, D.C. resident was sitting on a bench talking on his cellular telephone when two men approached him. The suspects demanded money and when the victim did not give them any, one of the suspects grabbed the victim's telephone and the suspects ran away. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 18-24 years old, 6'-6'2", 200-220 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 18-24 years old, 5'9"-5'11", 175 pounds and was wearing a dark shirt and pants.

200 blk. of W. Glebe Rd. 07-21/ 3:25 p.m. The victim, a 20-year-old Alexandria man, was approached by four juveniles. The suspects punched the victim in the face, knocked him to the ground and continued striking him. During the assault, the suspects stole money from the victim and then fled. The victim did not require medical treatment. The suspects are described as black males, approximately 12 or 13 years old.

BURGLARY:

1400 blk. of Princess St. 07-21/ between 10:45 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

2800 blk. of Eisenhower Ave. 07-20/ between 8:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Stolen: 2001 Chevrolet Suburban sport utility, gold.

4300 blk. of Taney Ave. 07-20/ 8:30 p.m. - 07-21/ 5:45 p.m. Stolen: 2000 Chevrolet Blazer sport utility, blue.
