ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, JULY 25, 2005
Intersection of N. Patrick and Madison Sts. 07-24/ 3:23 a.m. The victim, a 25-year-old Alexandria man, was shot several times. Police and medic units were called to the scene for a report of shots being fired. Upon their arrival, the victim was found suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. He was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he underwent surgery. His condition at this time is considered stable. Investigation revealed that the victim, and at least two other men, were arguing when a series of gun shots were heard and the victim fell to the ground. The suspects are described as black males. A motive has not been determined and the case still remains under investigation.
4840 Eisenhower Ave. 07-22/ between 12:25 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. Someone entered the business by force and stole electronic equipment.
1700 blk. of Commonwealth Ave. 07-24/ 1:30 a.m. The victim noticed someone outside her apartment building in the rear alley. Several minuted later she observed the suspect, described as a light skinned male possibly white or Hispanic, attempting to remove her window screen. The victim screamed and the suspect ran away. Police were called and circulated in the area however, did not locate the suspect.

400 blk. of N. Alfred St. 07-16/ 10:00 a.m. - 07-23/ 12:00 p.m. Stolen: 1985 Toyota van, silver.
3500 blk. of Jefferson Davis Hwy. 07-23/ between 8:55 p.m. and 11:10 p.m. Stolen: 2000 Nissan Altima, 4 door, blue.
