ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT:
Scroggins Rd & W. Braddock Rd. 07-25/ 9:01 p.m. The victim, a 16-year-old Alexandria boy, was riding his bicycle east on West Braddock Road and crossing over Scroggins Road when he was struck by a car turning onto Scroggins. The victim suffered broken bones, abrasions and other injures. He was flown to Washington Hospital Center where he remains in stable condition. The driver, a 20-year-old Alexandria man, had been traveling west on West Braddock and turned left onto Scroggins when the crash occurred. He was operating a 1994 Volvo 850. No charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing.
BURGLARY:
3551 Jefferson Davis Hwy. 07-27/ between 5:10 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through the front door. Police responded to an alarm call and discovered the front glass window broken. Several boxes of shoes were stolen from the business.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
3800 blk. of Florence Dr. 07-25/ between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Stolen: 2000 KTM motorcycle (off-road dirt motorcycle), orange.
