ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2005
ROBBERY:
4400 blk. of King St. 08-01/ 5:30 a.m. The victims, a 32-year-old male City resident and a 44-year-old male Arlington County resident, were waiting for a bus when they were approached by three men. The suspects were armed with baseball bats and demanded money. The first victim was struck with a baseball bat by one of the suspects who then stole the victim's wallet and ran away. The second suspect struck the other victim with a bat, stole his duffle bag and then the remaining two suspects fled from the scene on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a white male, 18-21 years old, 5'6"-5'8", 160-170 pounds and was wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jean shorts. Suspect #2 is described as a white male, 18-21 years old, 6'-6'1", 160-170 pounds and was wearing a white shirt and blue jean shorts. Suspect #3 is described as a white male, 18-20 years old, 5'8"-5'11", 150-160 pounds and was wearing a short sleeve shirt and jeans.
BURGLARY:
100 blk. of Montgomery St. 07-31/ 4:30 p.m. - 08-01/ 8:30 p.m. Someone entered the victim's garage, which was left partially open, and stole a mountain-style bicycle.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
2100 blk. of Mill Rd. 07-31/ 8:00 p.m. - 08-01/ 8:30 a.m. Stolen: 2000 Yamaha motorcycle, blue/white.
1400 blk. of Abingdon Dr. 07-29/ between 8:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. Stolen: 2001 Buell motorcycle, black.
