ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2005

ROBBERY:

5300 blk. of Sanger Ave. 08-03/ 12:03 a.m. The victim, a 42-year-old male City resident had just parked his car and was walking to his apartment building when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then robbed the victim and both suspects fled on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 25-28 years old, 5'9", 150 pounds and was wearing a pale yellow or white t-shirt. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, in his early 20s, 5'7", 190-210 pounds and was wearing a dark t-shirt.

Unit blk. of Madison St. 08-02/ 10:30 p.m. The victim, an 18-year-old female non-City resident, was with a friend walking through a nearby park. They were confronted by four black male juveniles. The suspects demanded the victim's purse and struck her in the face when she resisted. The victim eventually complied and the suspects fled from the scene. One of the suspects was riding a white bicycle.

BURGLARY:

400 blk. of Euille St. 07-30/ 5:00 p.m. - 08-02/ 12:00 p.m. Someone entered a home under construction. Once inside, the suspect stole a washing machine.
