ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2005

FELONIOUS ASSAULT:

3800 blk. of Executive Ave. 10-02/ 12:30 a.m. The victim, a 21-year-old male City resident, was attacked by a group of men as he walked home. One of the suspects pushed him into a window, while another produced a knife and attempted to cut him. Police and a medic unit were called to the scene, however the victim refused medical treatment. One of the suspects was stopped nearby, identified as Francisco Argueta, a 21-year-old male of 3803 Executive Avenue, apartment # A2. He was charged with Felonious Assault.

ROBBERY:

3800 blk. of Executive Ave. 09-29/ 7:45 p.m. The victim, a 21-year-old male City resident, was approached by a man. The suspect reached out and grabbed the victim's gold necklace. After stealing the necklace, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a 23-24 year old male, 5'6"-5'7", 140-150 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue pants.

1300 blk. of Princess St. 09-29/ 12:45 p.m. The victim, a 76-year-old male from Missouri, befriended an individual who later robbed him at gun point. The victim drove the suspect to Princess Street and as they walked through an alley, the suspects turned, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money. The suspect then grabbed the victim's wallet which was left in the victim's vehicle. After stealing the wallet, the suspect, who is described as a heavy set black male 30-35 years old, 6', 200 pounds and wearing a white t-shirt, fled on foot from.

BURGLARY:

3700 blk. of Jason Ave. 10-01/ between 12:30 a.m. and 12:45 a.m. Someone entered the unsecured residence and stole a cellular telephone and electronic equipment.

3700 blk. of Jason Ave. 10-01/ 12:30 a.m. and 12:45 a.m. Someone entered the unsecured residence and stole a women's purse which contained credit cards and electronic equipment.

700 blk. of N. Columbus St. 09-29/ between 4:20 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through the front door.

Once inside, the suspect stole a women's purse which contained money, credit cards, miscellaneous papers and a cellular telephone.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

3900 blk. of Elbert Ave. 09-30/ 10:30 p.m. - 10-01/ 10:30 Stolen: 1994 Honda Accord, 4 door, black.

1000 blk. of W. Glebe Rd. 09-30/ 5:30 a.m. Stolen: 1994 Mazda pickup truck, red.
