ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2005
ATTEMPT ROBBERY:
3402 Mount Vernon Ave. 10-05/ 11:15 a.m. The manager at the restaurant called police to report that two men tried to rob his business. Investigation revealed that two black males entered the business together. One of the suspects stayed in the customer area, while the other suspect ran behind the counter, displayed a gun, and demanded money. Both suspects were unsuccessful with obtaining money and left the business. The suspects were seen entering a four-door black car. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, short, long curly hair and wearing a grey shirt and black pants. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, tall, short curly hair and wearing a white shirt and black pants. No employees were injured.

300 blk. of S. Reynolds St. 10-01/ 6:00 p.m. - 10-04/ 9:40 p.m. Stolen: 2005 Toyota Matrix, 4 door hatchback, blue/grey.
200 blk. of N. Ripley St. 10-04/ 11:45 p.m. - 10-05/ 4:20 a.m. Stolen: 1990 Toyota Camry, 4 door, white.
