ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

ATTEMPT ROBBERY:
Unit blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 10-16/ 9:45 p.m. The victim, a 24-year-old male Springfield resident, was delivering a pizza when a man emerged from the apartment and confronted him. The suspect was wearing a black bandana to conceal his face and was holding a handgun. The suspect hit the victim, knocked him to the ground and demanded money. The victim did not have any money and the suspect hit him again before running away. The suspect is further described as a black male, 5'11", 180 pounds and was wearing a black sweat shirt and blue jeans.
BURGLARY:
Unit blk. of W. Glebe Rd. 10-10/ 10:00 a.m. - 10-17/ 7:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole electronic equipment.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
700 blk. of N. Ripley St. 10-17/ between 8:30 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche sport utility, gold.
5000 blk. of Maris Ave. 10-11/ 10:00 p.m. - 10-13/ 8:00 p.m. Stolen: 2001 Suzuki motorcycle, black.
