ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2005

ROBBERY:

1601 Mt. Vernon Ave. 10-18/ 9:42 p.m. The victim, a 41-year-old male Arlington resident, was working as a night clerk when two men entered the business. The suspects were wearing stocking masks and one of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects fled from the business on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 5'10"-5'11", 170-175 pounds and was wearing a gray nylon stocking cap, black sweater and black pants. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 6'-6'1", 180-185 pounds and was wearing a gray nylon stocking cap, gray jacket and black pants. There were no injuries.

BURGLARY:

625 N. Washington St. 10-10/ 9:30 a.m. - 10-11/ 8:15 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means and stole electronic equipment.

INDECENT EXPOSURE:

Intersection of N. Beauregard and N. Morgan Sts. 10-18/ 2:30 p.m. The victim, a 28-year-old Alexandria woman, was out with her children when a car pulled alongside. The suspect, who was driving the car, had his passenger's side window rolled down and yelled out to the victim. When the victim looked towards the vehicle, the suspect was nude and masturbating. The woman gathered her children and left the area. The suspect also left the area in an older model purple four-door Volvo. The suspect is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, heavy set and short.
