ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2005

BURGLARY:

908 King St. 10-18/ 3:00 p.m. - 10-19/ 6:15 a.m. Someone gained entry to the business by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect stole power tools from the work site.

3600 blk. of Oval Ct. 10-20/ 3:30 a.m. The victim, a 62-year-old Alexandria man, awoke to hear a noise coming from the bathroom. He went into the bathroom and observed the suspect climbing through the window. He struggled with the suspect who escaped out the window and fled. The victim was not injured and nothing was missing from the residence. The suspect is described as a white male, in his early 20s, 5'8"-5'11", 170-190 lbs., with dark hair and no shirt.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

Corner of N. Alfred and Madison Sts. 10-18/ 11:30 p.m. - 10-19/ 10:30 a.m. Stolen: 1994 Chevrolet Caprice, 4 door, blue.

300 blk. of S. Whiting St. 10-19/ between 10:05 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. Stolen: 2003 Toyota RAV-4, SUV, silver.
