ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2005
ROBBERY:
500 S. Pickett St. 10-21/ 2:48 p.m. The suspect entered the business armed with a handgun, demanded money and then fled from the business carrying an undisclosed amount of money. The victim employee complied and was not injured. The first suspect was described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5'9"-6', skinny with a thin mustache and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. There was a second suspect standing outside the business however, there was no description given.
4000 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 10-24/ 12:23 a.m. The victim, a 33-year-old female City resident, was approached by a man who grabbed her wallet. He then forced her to a secluded area and witnesses alerted police. Police located the victim and the suspect along a bike path nearby. The victim had sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene by a medic unit. The suspect, Samuel Ortiz- Gonzalez, a 42-year-old male of no fixed address, was taken into custody and charged with Robbery.
BURGLARY:
900 blk. of Church St. 10-22/ between 1:00 p.m. and 7:24 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a front window. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment, jewelry and luggage.
INDECENT EXPOSURE:
5500 blk. of N. Morgan St. 10-18/ 2:00 p.m. The victim, a 32-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking in the park when a man exposed himself to her. The victim walked away and notified police. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, 30-40 years old, 5'7"-5'10", 160-175 pounds and was wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans.

Unit blk. of French St. 10-22/ between 5:25 p.m. and 5:33 p.m. Stolen; 2002 Mazda Millenia, 4 door, silver.
