ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2005
SUSPICIOUS EVENT:
Intersection of Commonwealth and Rosemont Aves. 11-08/ 5:58 a.m. The victim, a 30-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking to work when she was approached by a man. The suspect pulled out a knife and the victim screamed. The suspect, described as an Hispanic male, approximately 20-26 years old and wearing a dark parka jacket and jeans, then fled from the area on foot. It is unclear what the suspect's intentions were. The victim was not injured.
BURGLARY:
2200 blk. of Small St. 11-08/ between 5:30 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. Someone entered the victim's garage and stole a bicycle. The victim saw the suspect walk up her driveway, enter her garage and ride away on the bicycle. The suspect is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, 5'7"-5'9", 170-180 pounds and was wearing a white shirt and jeans.
