ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2005
FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
800 blk. of S. Washington St. 12-10/ 1:55 a.m. The victim, a 34-year-old Springfield man, was approached by a small group of individuals; five males and two females. One of the men in the group punched the victim in the face and the victim fell to the ground. Police and a medic unit were called to the scene. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated and hospitalized for multiple facial injuries. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, possibly in the military, 20-25 years old, 5'7"-5'8", 145-150 pounds and was wearing dark clothing.
ROBBERY:
3800 blk. of Executive Ave. 12-09/ 11:30 p.m. The victim, a 29-year-old Alexandria man, was walking home when he was approached by four or five men. The suspects began punching him and during the assault they stole his wallet. The suspect who stole the victim's wallet is described as an Hispanic male, 5'8" and had a tattoo on his forehead. No description was given on the other suspects involved.
BURGLARY:
Unit blk. of S. Van Dorn St. 12-06/ between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole clothing items.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
600 blk. of Wolfe St. 12-07/ 11:55 p.m. - 12-08/ 8:30 a.m. Stolen: 2000 Dodge Ram pickup truck, green.
5800 blk. of Duke St. 12-10/ between 2:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Stolen: 1991 Toyota Camry, 4 door, red.
900 blk. of Montgomery St. 12-09/ 10:09 p.m. Stolen: 1998 Nissan Quest van, silver.
