ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2006
ROBBERY:
3100 blk. of Jefferson Davis Hwy. 02-04/ 10:50 a.m. The victim, a 29-year-old Alexandria man, was approached by two men. The suspects grabbed him, demanded money and stole his wallet. The suspects were seen entering a small blue compact vehicle with tinted windows. The suspects are described as Hispanic males.
BURGLARY:
2004 Mt. Vernon Ave. 02-03/ 10:00 p.m. - 02-04/ 8:01 a.m. Someone entered the business by breaking the front glass window. Once inside, the suspect stole bottles of alcohol.
5900 blk. of Quantrell Ave. 02-01/ 6:00 p.m. - 02-02/ 4:45 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry and several CD's. During the investigation, police learned that someone had attempted to enter another apartment in the building between February 1 and February 3 in a similar fashion however, were not successful.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
4300 blk. of Raleigh Ave. 02-04/ between 11:00 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Stolen: 2005 Pontiac Vibe 4-door hatchback, silver.
5400 blk. of Roanoke Ave. 02-04/ between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Stolen: 1997 Nissan pickup truck, purple.
