ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2006
FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
3800 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 02-11/ 5:30 a.m. The victim, a 20-year-old Alexandria man, was attacked by four suspects; two men and two women. The victim was standing outside a business when the suspects approached. The suspects exchanged words with the victim, assaulted him and threw him into a store front window. A medic unit was called to the scene and treated the victim for minor injuries. The male suspects were described as being 18-21 years old, both Hispanic and both were wearing black coats. One of the women is described as being 5'4", 120-130 pounds and was wearing a pink coat, and the other is described as being 18-21 years old, 5'2"-5'5", 120-130 pounds and was wearing a black coat.
ROBBERY:
300 blk. of Commonwealth Ave. 02-12/ 2:42 p.m. The victim, a 67-year-old Alexandria woman, was approached from behind by a man. The suspect grabbed her purse, knocked the victim down and ran away. The suspect is described as a male, who was wearing a black coat and black pants.
BURGLARY:
668 S. Pickett St. 02-12/ 4:40 a.m. Someone entered the business by breaking the front glass door. Nothing was stolen.
1500 blk. of N. Highview La. 02-06/ 8:30 a.m. - 02-09/ 9:00 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole a food item.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
3800 blk. of Executive Ave. 02-11/ 11:30 p.m. - 02-12/ 11:00 a.m. Stolen: 2001 Ford Econoline van, white.
400 blk. of N. Payne St. 02-11/ between 9:20 a.m. and 9:23 a.m. Stolen: 1997 Nissan Altima, 4 door, maroon.
300 blk. of S. Reynolds St. 02-11/ between 3:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 1997 Jeep Wrangler, 2 door, yellow.
