ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2006
ROBBERY:
30 S. Reynolds St. 03-09/ 1:17 a.m. Two men entered the convenience store and separated as they entered. One of the suspects stole beer from the cooler while the other stood near the front of the store. When the clerk attempted to call police, one of the suspects threw a bottle at him. He was not injured. The suspects then exited the store and drove away in a white Mercedes-Benz. Both suspects are described as black males, 20-30 years old and 5'7"-6' tall.
3600 blk. of King St. 03-08/ 1:45 p.m. The victim, a 14-year-old Alexandria boy, was sitting on a bench and approached by two individuals. The suspects demanded the victim's sneakers and implied they had a knife. The victim complied and the suspects fled from the area on foot. Police caught both suspects nearby. Two Alexandria males, ages 14 and 15, were charged with Robbery.
