ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
900 blk. of First St. 03-17/ 3:08 a.m. The victim, a 19-year-old male City resident, was shot multiple times. The victim was in a rear alley when he was shot, and a friend drove him to Inova Alexandria Hospital. The victim was later transferred by helicopter to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he underwent surgery and remains in stable condition. Officers and detectives secured the scene and conducted a canvass of the area in attempts to locate witnesses. A motive has not yet been determined, and the case still remains under investigation.
ROBBERY:
400 blk. of S. Columbus St. 03-16/ 2:00 a.m. The victim, a 28-year-old Alexandria man, was walking home when he heard men yelling at him. Two suspects were behind the victim yelling and the victim began to run. The suspects gave chase and the victim dropped his laptop computer and leather case as he continued to run away. The suspects retrieved the property and fled on foot. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 17-18 years old, 5'9"-5'11", and was wearing all black clothing. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 18-19 years old, 5'9"-5'11", and was wearing all black clothing.

3300 blk. of Wythe St. 03-15/ 7:30 p.m. - 03-16/ 8:30 a.m. Stolen: 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee, black.
