ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, MARCH 20, 2006
ROBBERY:
100 blk. of Ellsworth Ave. 03-17/ 8:30 p.m. The victim, a 26-year-old Alexandria man, had just delivered a pizza when he was approached by a man with a knife. The suspect demanded money and the victim complied. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 6'1"-6'5", 180-200 pounds and was wearing all black clothing.
Intersection of S. Patrick and Franklin Sts. 03-17/ between 8:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. The victim, an 18-year-old Fairfax County man, was stopped at a light when the passenger in his car, someone he did not know, punched him in the face and stole his keys. The victim had exited his car and the suspect drove away in his 1998 black four-door Honda Accord.
BURGLARY:
500 Montgomery St. 03-15/ 5:00 p.m. - 03-16/ 8:30 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through a fire exit door. Once inside, the suspect was able to enter a number of different office suites on different floors. Several laptop computers were stolen.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
1200 blk. of N. Pitt St. 03-15/ 6:30 p.m. - 03-16/ 6:45 p.m. Stolen: 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier, 2 door, red.
300 blk. of S. Whiting St. 03-16/ between 5:27 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Stolen: 2004 Hyundai, sport utility, white/grey.
5600 blk. of Sanger Ave. 03-18/ 10:45 p.m. Stolen: 2001 Infiniti I-30, 4 door, brown.
