ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
THURSDAY, APRIL 6, 2006
FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
Unit blk. of E. Linden St. 04-05/ 8:47 a.m. Police were called to the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and East Linden Street for the report of a fight. Upon arrival, they observed a 19-year-old Alexandria woman suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. She was flown by helicopter to the Washington Hospital Center where she remains in stable condition. Later in the day, two female suspects were identified and arrested. Charmin N. Nibblins, 23, of 217 Aspen Street, and Renea S. McKinney, 22, of 5 South French Street, were apprehended in the 4200 block of Duke Street. Both have been charged with Malicious Wounding. A motive for the incident is under investigation, however, the victim is acquainted with her attackers.

400 blk. of S. Whiting St. 04-04/ 11:30 p.m. - 04-05/ 10:00 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Isuzu Rodeo, sport utility, black.
3100 blk. of Duke St. 04-05/ between 9:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Stolen: 1997 Freightliner truck, white.
