ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

MONDAY, MAY 1, 2006

ROBBERY:

800 blk. of Franklin St. 04-30/ 7:15 a.m. The victim, a 31-year-old male Fairfax County resident, was riding with an individual who provided a ride for him from Maryland. As they crossed over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge into Alexandria, the suspect produced a gun and demanded money. The suspect stopped at a convenience store and the victim exited the car to make a withdrawal from the ATM machine. When the victim entered the store, the suspect drove away with the victim's jacket and cell phone. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5'7"-6', 190-210 pounds and was wearing a black and orange coat and driving a green mid-90's Toyota Camry.

BURGLARY:

200 blk. of Oronoco St. 04-27/ 5:00 p.m. - 04-28/ 6:15 a.m. Someone entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole electronic equipment and luggage.

1000 blk. of Beverley Dr. 04-28/ between 7:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a side door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.

600 blk. of Ft. Williams Pkwy. 04-28/ between 10:33 a.m. and 10:35 a.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole jewelry.

200 blk. of S. Fayette St. 04-27/ 11:30 p.m. - 04-28/ 5:00 a.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a rear basement door. Once inside, the suspect stole credit cards, electronic equipment and money.

500 blk. of N. Armistead St. 04-27/ 11:30 p.m. - 04-28/ 8:40 a.m. Stolen: 1997 Honda Civic, 4 door, blue.

400 blk. of N. Armistead St. 04-27/ 9:15 p.m. - 04-28/ 7:00 a.m. Stolen: 1994 Honda Civic, 2 door, maroon.

3600 blk. of Jefferson Davis Hwy. 04-28/ between 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Stolen: 2000 Nissan Maxima, 4 door, maroon.

100 blk. of Century Dr. 04-27/ 9:00 p.m. - 04-28/ 6:59 p.m. Stolen: 2003 Honda motorcycle, black.

Unit blk. of Groves Ave. 04-29/ between 12:00 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. Stolen: 2002 Chrysler van, silver.

5100 blk. of Fillmore Ave. 04-29/ 4:30 p.m. - 04-30/ 6:30 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Ford Crown Victoria, 4 door, blue.
