300 blk. of George Ln. 05-17/ 11:00 p.m. The victim, a 24-year-old Alexandria woman was approached from behind by a man. The suspect punched her in the face and stole her purse. There was no description given on the suspect.

2700 blk. of Duke St. 05-17/ 12:00 p.m. Stolen: 2004 Land Rover, gold.
