ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 2006

FELONIOUS ASSAULT:

6100 blk. of Lincolnia Rd. 06-07/ 11:30 a.m. The victim, a 51-year-old Fairfax County woman, was approached by a homeless woman. The female suspect produced a knife and placed it against the victim's neck. Police were called and took the woman, Mary Elaine Harris, into custody and charged her with Malicious Wounding. The victim received a very minor cut and was treated at the scene by a medic unit.

BURGLARY:

1700 blk. of Potomac River Greens Dr. 05-27/ 2:00 p.m. - 05-30/ 7:10 a.m. Someone entered three townhouses currently under construction and stole house ware appliances.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

200 blk. of S. West St. 06-06/ between 9:30 p.m. and 9:32 p.m. Stolen: 2006 Ford 500, 4 door, blue.

3300 blk. of Wyndham Cir. 06-06/ 9:00 a.m. - 06-07/ 1:00 a.m. Stolen: 2004 Yamaha motorcycle, silver.
