ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

ROBBERY:
2700 blk. of Commonwealth Ave. 06-10/ 4:50 p.m. The victim, a 10-year-old Alexandria boy, was at the bicycle rack when he was approached by a 13-year-old boy. The suspect punched the victim in the face and stole his bicycle. The bicycle is described as a silver Mongoose BMX. The suspect was identified as a 13-year-old Alexandria boy. He was later charged with Robbery.
BURGLARY:
3900 blk. of Courtland Cr. 06-10/ 5:55 a.m. - 06-11/ 6:25 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole jewelry. A suspect described as an Hispanic male, 20-23 years old, 5'6"-5'7", 135-145 pounds and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, was seen leaving the house carrying a garbage bag which appeared to be stuffed with items.
600 blk. of Tivoli Pg. 06-10/ 6:30 p.m. - 06-11/ 12:30 a.m. Someone attempted to enter the residence by prying the front door. Entry was not gained and nothing was stolen.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
3800 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 06-10/ between 5:50 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Stolen: 1995 Toyota Tercel, 2 door, green.
700 blk. of S. Fayette St. 06-10/ 7:30 p.m. - 06-11/ 10:30 .am. Stolen: 1995 Mazda 929, 4 door, dark green.
