ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2006

ROBBERY:

3700 blk. of Mt. Vernon Ave. 06-19/ 3:35 p.m. The victim, a 36-year-old Alexandria man, was cut in the hand and robbed. The victim had just cashed his check and was walking away from the business when he was approached from behind by a suspect armed with a knife. The suspect demanded money and removed money from the victim's pockets. The suspect then fled from the scene on foot. A police officer and a medic unit arrived on the scene shortly after this offense occurred. The suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, black hair, 5'6"-6', 180-200 pounds and was wearing a baseball cap, a white and green shirt and blue jeans.

5000 blk. of Seminary Rd. 06-17/ 3:00 p.m. - 06-18/ 5"01 p.m. Stolen: 2005 Tomos Moped, black.
