ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

100 blk. of Cameron St. 06-28/ 11:40 a.m. The victim, a 47-year-old Stafford County man, was working at a construction site when he had a disagreement with another worker at the site. The other worker then struck the victim in the head with a hammer. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital for treatment. The suspect was still on the scene when police arrived, and was taken to police headquarters for further questioning. Detectives will be following up on this case.
100 blk. of N. West St. 06-20/ between 1:00 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. Someone entered the residence by force through a kitchen window. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic equipment and clothing items.
2700 Jefferson Davis Hwy. 06-28/ between 2:14 a.m. and 2:21 a.m. Police responded to an alarm at the business and discovered that someone had gained entry by force through the front door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
1019 King St. 06-27/ 10:00 p.m. - 06-28/ 10:30 a.m. Someone used force to enter a storage shed in the rear of the business and stole food items.
