ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
FRIDAY, JULY 7, 2006
SEXUAL ASSAULT:
100 blk. of N. Henry St. 07-06/ between 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The victim, a 25-year-old Dumfries woman was stopped at a traffic light when a man approached her vehicle. The suspect asked the victim a question and then reached inside her car and inappropriately grabbed her. The victim then accelerated her car, left the area and called police. The suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, 50-60 years old, 6'-6'2", 175-180 pounds and was wearing a green shirt t-shirt and black pants.
BURGLARY:
210 N. Lee St. 06-24/ 4:00 p.m. - 06-26/ 8:30 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means and stole money.
601 King St. 06-29/ 4:00 p.m. - 07-06/ 9:30 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means and stole company checks.
601 King St. 06-30/ 8:00 a.m. - 07-06/ 9:00 a.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means and stole a key.
601 King St. 07-03/ 11:00 a.m. - 07-05/ 1:00 p.m. Someone entered the business by undetermined means and stole company checks.
All three burglaries at 601 King Street are believed to be connected. Once entry was gained into the main building, the suspect had access to the inner office suites however, no signs of force was discovered in any of these burglaries.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
300 blk. of S. Whiting St. 06-05/ 8:00 p.m. - 07-06/ 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 1995 Chrysler Cirrus, 4 door, maroon.
