ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
WEDNESDAY, JULY 19, 2006
FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
3300 blk. of King St. 07-18/ 1:15 p.m. The victim, a 42-year old Stafford County man, a site foreman, became involved in a verbal altercation with a co-worker. The verbal argument escalated into a physical assault when the co-worker, a 25-year-old man, struck the victim in the arm with a construction tool. Police were called to the scene and arrested the suspect who was still at the construction site. The suspect, Crispin Blaz Gonzalez, a 36-year-old male of 3612 Barcroft View Terrace in Falls Church, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery. The victim refused medical treatment.
Executive and Mt. Vernon Ave. 07-19/ 1:00 a.m. The victim, a 30-year-old Alexandria man, was approached by two men. One of the suspects pulled out a knife and attempted to cut the victim. The victim managed to run away without being injured. Both suspects were described as Hispanic males, 20-25 years old.
BURGLARY:
701 King St. 07-17/ 11:00 p.m. - 07-18/ 10:30 a.m. Someone entered the business by breaking the rear glass door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
1000 blk. of Vernon St. 07-14/ 2:00 p.m. - 07-16/ 8:45 p.m. Stolen: 1999 Jeep Cherokee, sport utility, white.
900 blk. of Manor Rd. 07-17/ between 10:00 p.m. and 10:17 p.m. Stolen: 2002 Hyundai Sonata, 4 door, white.
900 blk. of Gibbon St. 07-17/ between 12:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Stolen: 1997 Ford Crown Victoria, 4 door, silver.
