ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2006

ROBBERY:

3900 blk. of Bruce St. 07-31/ between 11:20 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. The victim, a 44-year-old Alexandria man, was approached by two men. The suspects pushed the victim to the ground, demanded money and then struck him in the head with a rifle. The suspects then ran away. A medic unit transported the victim to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injury. Both suspects were described as black males, 18-20 years old, 5'10"-6', 160-180 pounds and both were wearing black shirts and black pants.

PEEPING TOM:

500 blk. of N. Jordan St. 07-31/ between 9:20 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. The victim, a 26-year-old Alexandria woman, observed a man looking through her kitchen window. The suspect, who was described as a black male, 6', 150 pounds and wearing a red baseball cap, than ran away.

300 blk. of N. Howard St. 08-01/ between 6:00 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. The victim, a 25-year-old Alexandria woman, observed a man looking into her bedroom window. The suspect, who was described as an Asian male, 20-40 years old, 5', 150 pounds and wearing a white polo shirt and khaki shorts, than ran away.

BURGLARY:

200 blk. of Yoakum Pkwy. 07-31/ 8:00 a.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole electronic equipment.

801 N. Fairfax St. 07-28/ 5:30 p.m. - 07-31/ 7:45 a.m. Someone entered an office suite by undetermined means and stole company checks.

200 blk. of Breckinridge Pl. 07-27/ 5:00 a.m. - 07-28/ 4:00 a.m. Someone entered the victim's hotel room by undetermined means and stole electronic equipment.

4700 blk. of Kenmore Ave. 07-25/ between 5:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole money and jewelry.

100 blk. of E. Maple St. 08-01/ between 6:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence by undetermined means and stole electronic equipment.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

1300 blk. of Wythe St. 07-31/ 11:00 p.m. - 08-01/ 9:30 a.m. Stolen; 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4 door, red/blue.

4900 blk. of Seminary Rd. 07-31/ 6:00 p.m. - 08-01/ 8:45 a.m. Stolen: 2001 Toyota Highlander, 4 door, gold.

4300 blk. of Taney Ave. 07-31/ between 12:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Stolen: 1999 Mazda 626, 4 door, grey.
