ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2006
INDECENT EXPOSURE:
4700 block of West Braddock Road 09/04 1:25 p.m. The female victim, a 26-year-old City resident, reports that the suspect exposed himself to her while she was entering her vehicle. The suspect, described as an Asian male in his early to mid-20's, 5'08" to 5'10", thin build, short dark hair and a goatee, wearing a gray t-shirt, faded blue jeans and dark-rimmed prescription-type glasses, was last seen running along W. Braddock Rd. towards North Beauregard Street.
BURGLARY:
1200 block of Stonnell Place between 08/31 3:40 p.m. and 09/02 3:40 p.m. An unknown suspect forced entry into the residence. Jewelry, electronic and personal items were taken.
1500 block of South Van Dorn Street between 09/01 7:00 p.m. and 09/03 3:05 p.m. An unknown suspect gained entry to the residence by breaking a window. Once inside, the suspect stole electronic items.
100 block of South Jordan Street between 09/03 9:05 p.m. and 09/04 5:00 p.m. An unknown suspect entered the victim's bedroom and stole cash.
512 South Van Dorn Street #D between 09/01 5:35 p.m. and 09/02 6:50 a.m. An unknown suspect entered the business by breaking a window. The suspect then stole electronic items.
2700 block of Duke Street between 05/01 4:00 p.m. and 09/02 10:45 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) entered two separate storage closets. Stolen were tools and miscellaneous items.
***Flooding was reported on lower King Street periodically over the weekend, along with several power interruptions on Friday, September 1. Barricades were placed as necessary. No significant damage was reported.***
