ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2006
2401 Mount Vernon Avenue 09/05 1:20 p.m. Victim, a 60-year-old Prince William County man, was approached by the suspect near the intersection of East Oxford and Mt. Vernon Avenues. The suspect spoke to the victim, then displayed a handgun. The victim immediately ran to a nearby business for help. The suspect was last seen walking east in the 200 block of E. Oxford Ave. The suspect is described as a black male, 19 to 25 years old, about 5'08", 150 lbs., wearing a black jacket, black jeans and a dark-colored baseball cap. A possible vehicle that may have been involved is described as a gold 2000 Acura.
800 block of South Lee Street 09/05 6:18 p.m. The female victim, a 37-year-old City resident, reports that the suspect exposed himself to her. The suspect, described as a black or Middle-Eastern male in his 40's, about 5'10", thin build, 150 to 170 lbs., short dark hair and a beard, wearing a green windbreaker and khaki pants. He was carrying a black, compact folded umbrella in his right hand. The suspect was last seen walking south on S. Lee St.
2100 block of Mill Road between 09/01 10:00 a.m. and 09/05 1:30 p.m. An unknown suspect entered the victim's apartment by unknown means. Electronic items were taken.
700 block of North West Street 09/04 between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. An unknown suspect gained entry to the residence. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

4900 block of Seminary Road between 09/02 9:00 a.m. and 09/04 2:00 p.m. Stolen: 2000 Ford Crown Victoria 4-door, white.
5400 block of Sheffield Court between 09/03 8:30 p.m. and 09/04 8:45 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Dodge Caravan, white.
