ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

INDECENT EXPOSURE:
400 block of Jefferson Street 09/14 9:50 a.m. The victims, a 53-year-old Alexandria man and a 56-year-old Alexandria woman, were walking when they encountered the suspect standing on the sidewalk. The suspect had exposed his genitals and tried to get the attention of the victims, but they continued walking. The suspect is described as a white male, 6', 180 pounds, and wearing a brown shirt and black shorts.
BURGLARY:
1700 block of King Street 09/15 7:15 a.m. - 09/16 9:00 a.m. Someone gained entry to the residence by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect stole a purse.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
100 block of Century Drive 09/14 10:00 a.m. - 09/17 6:00 p.m. Stolen: 2006 Suzuki GSX-R, motorcycle, blue and white.
4700 block of Kenmore Avenue 09/14 8:00 p.m. - 09/15 3:50 a.m. Stolen: 1996 Honda Accord, 4 door, silver.
600 block of Notabene Drive 09/16 between 1:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Stolen: 1993 Toyota Corolla, 4 door, green.
3800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway 09/15 between 10:00 p.m. and 10:55 p.m. Stolen: 1994 Honda Accord, 4 door, green.
5300 block of Knole Court 09/15 6:00 p.m. - 09/16 9:00 a.m. Stolen: 1996 Dodge Caravan, mini-van, green.
UPDATE ON DWI CRACKDOWN:
Between 8 p.m. on Friday, September 15, and the early morning hours of Saturday, September 16, Alexandria police conducted a mobile patrol to target drunk drivers. During the crackdown, officers arrested five motorists for DWI, issued 43 summonses for other violations, and made three arrests for other criminal offenses.
