ALEXANDRIA POLICE INCIDENTS

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2006

SEXUAL BATTERY:

100 block of Commonwealth Avenue 09/21 between 9:55 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The victim, a 20-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking when an unknown suspect walked toward her. He touched her in a sexually inappropriate way. She screamed and was able to get away from him. The suspect was last seen running south on Commonwealth Avenue toward the Metro station. The victim did not require medical treatment. The suspect is described as a white male, possibly Hispanic, 20-30, 5'7"-5'8", 180-200 pounds, and wearing a jacket and baseball cap.

BURGLARY:

2800 block of Central Avenue 09/20 7:30 p.m. - 09/21 8:00 a.m. Someone forced open a door to gain entry to the residence. Once inside, the suspect stole appliances.

900 block of North Alfred Street 09/21 between 8:30 a.m. and 9:28 a.m. Someone gained entry to the residence through an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspect stole money.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

500 block of South Van Dorn Street 09/16 5:00 p.m. - 09/20 7:00 a.m. Stolen: 1994 International 970, truck, white and yellow.
