ROBBERY:
Unit block of South Van Dorn Street 10/17 between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The victim, a 42-year-old Alexandria man, was approached from behind by two unknown suspects. The first suspect spoke to him and when the victim looked back, the first suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victim's wallet. The victim complied and both suspects then ran away. The victim was not injured. The first suspect is described as a black male, 20-25, 5'9"-6'2", with braided hair and wearing a blue coat. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-25, 5'9"-6'2", and wearing a black coat.
3216 Jefferson Davis Highway 10/18 1:35 a.m. The victim, a 45-year-old Alexandria man, was working as a clerk at a gas station when it was robbed. An unknown suspect approached the counter and displayed a handgun. He demanded money and the victim complied. The suspect then fled and was last seen running west on Evans Lane with a second suspect. The victim was not injured. The armed suspect is described as a black male, 18-20, 5'6"-5'9", 150-170 pounds, and wearing sunglasses and a black jacket with the hood pulled up. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5'10"-6', 180-200 pounds, with a mustache.
