Daily Incident Report

ALEXANDRIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2006

 

ROBBERY:

 

300 block of South Van Dorn Street 10/18 between 8:45 p.m. and 8:50 p.m.  The victim, a 26-year-old Alexandria man, had entered an apartment building and was standing in the lobby when two suspects approached him.  One demanded his wallet and the other placed an unknown object against his neck.  The victim complied and both suspects fled, running toward the shopping center across the street.  The victim was not injured.  Both suspects are described as black males, 16-20, 5’8”-5’10”, 140-160 pounds, and wearing black shirts and black jeans.

 

BURGLARY:

 

5400 block of Roanoke Avenue 10/18 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Someone gained entry to the victims’ apartment by forcing a window open. The victims reported nothing stolen.

 

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

 

5400 block of North Morgan Street between 10/15 at 8:45 p.m. and 10/16 at 12:30 a.m. Stolen: gold 4-door 1990 Lincoln Continental Town Car.

 

200 block of South Reynolds Street 10/18 between Midnight and 6:46 a.m. Stolen: black 1998 4-door Ford Taurus.
