Daily Incident Report




3800 block of Mount Vernon Avenue 10/21 between 11:45 a.m. and 12:00 noon The victim, a 47-year-old Woodbridge woman, observed the suspect in an alley with his genitals exposed. Through investigation, police were able to identify the suspect and they arrested him the next day. Robert O. Moten, a 47-year-old man with no fixed address, was charged with Indecent Exposure. This suspect has also been charged with Indecent Liberties with a Child for exposing himself to an 11-year-old boy on October 10 in the 100 block of East Reed Avenue.

600 block of North Union Street 10/20 between 2:15 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. Police responded to the park for the report of a naked person sitting on a bench. Officers found the suspect on the bench and arrested him. Jackie R. Dunn, a 49-year-old man with no fixed address, was charged with Indecent Exposure.


5000 block of Seminary Road 10/21 between 1:15 a.m. and 1:23 a.m. The victim, a 23-year-old man from Remington, Va., was assaulted by an unknown suspect. The victim was near the entrance of a parking lot when he encountered the suspect. They exchanged words and the suspect struck the victim on the side of his face with a beer bottle. The suspect then fled. The victim was transported to Inova Alexandria Hospital where he was treated and released. The suspect is described as a black male, 18-25, 5'10"-5'11", 210-230 pounds, and wearing a hooded jacket.


500 block of Elizabeth Lane 10-21/ 7:00 p.m. The victim, a 45-year-old Colorado woman, was walking when two suspects approached her. One displayed a knife and demanded money as the second suspect stood nearby. The victim gave the suspect her backpack and both suspects ran off. The victim was not injured. The suspect with the knife is described as a black male, 6'1", 180 pounds and wearing a black jacket. The other suspect is described as a black male and 5'10".

1600 block of King Street 10/21 between 1:45 p.m. and 1:57 p.m. The victims, a 22-year-old New Jersey woman and a 22-year-old woman from Staunton, Va., were in a parking garage unloading their packages from the car when a suspect suddenly approached them. He displayed a knife and demanded the victims' money. They complied and the suspect then fled from the garage. Neither victim was injured. The suspect is described as a black male, 40-45, 5'10"-5'11", 160-190 pounds, and wearing a blue coat, blue pants and a dark baseball cap.


400 block of South Reynolds Street 10/19 6:00 p.m. - 10/20 7:45 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, 4 door, grey.

400 block of East Clifford Avenue 10/21 7:00 a.m. Stolen: 2002 Toyota Camry, 4 door, blue.

3800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway 10/21 between 10:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Stolen: 2006 Chrysler, SUV, white.

5800 block of Quantrell Avenue 10/20 between 2:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Stolen: 1998 Chrysler Concorde, 4 door, grey.
