INDECENT EXPOSURE:
1456 Duke Street 10/24 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. and 10/25 between 3:45 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. On two separate occasions a hotel guest exposed his genitals to employees of the hotel as he walked through the hallway. Police obtained warrants and arrested the suspect yesterday. Jason B. Laporte, a 30-year-old man from Bristol, R.I., was charged with three counts of Indecent Exposure.
BRANDISHING:
Corner of Commonwealth Avenue and East Walnut Street 10/26 between 1:30 p.m. and 1:49 p.m. Four Alexandria girls ages 11 and 12 were outside a neighborhood market when they observed a man in a car brandish a handgun. The car had pulled up to the corner to pick up a man waiting nearby and as he got into the car, a passenger in the backseat brandished a handgun. The car then drove off. The suspect is described as a white male, 18-23, and the car is described as a dark green, four door Honda.
ROBBERY:
3120 Duke Street 10/26 between 3:20 a.m. and 3:27 a.m. The victim, a 30-year-old Alexandria man, was working as a cashier at the victim business when it was robbed. Three suspects approached the counter and one displayed a gun. They removed money from the cash register and then fled. The victim was not injured. The suspect with the gun is described as a black male, 18-26, 5'7"-5'9", 130-145 pounds, and wearing a black coat and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male, 18-25, 5'7"-5'9", 130-150 pounds, and wearing a black winter coat and black jeans. The third suspect is described as a black male, 18-25, 5'7"-5'9", 135-150 pounds, and wearing a black coat and blue jeans.
