ALEXANDRIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

FELONIOUS ASSAULT:
400 block of North Armistead Street 11/13 at 9:40 p.m. Victim, a 44-year-old Alexandria man, reported that he was cut with a sharp object during an attempted Robbery. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early twenties, 6’01” to 6’03”, 160 – 180 lbs. He was wearing a large black hooded winter coat, black sneakers and dark jeans.
BURGLARY:
100 block of Queen Street 11/06 between 2:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. Victim, a 76-year-old Alexandria man, reports that entry to the residence was gained through an open door. Stolen: Personal and electronic items and prescription drugs.
200 block of Ellsworth Avenue 11/13 between 9:46 a.m. - 10:05 a.m. Victim, a 40-year-old Alexandria man, reports that entry was gained to the residence through an unlocked door. Responding officer located the stolen purse in the front yard. Stolen and recovered: Purse containing personal items.
100 block of South Bragg Street 11/14 at 7:15 p.m. Victim, a 46-year-old New Hampshire man, reports that entry was gained to his room through an unlocked door. The suspect is described as a male, 5’10” – 6’00”, wearing a black and red jacket and dark pants. Stolen: Wallet containing credit cards and personal items.
GRAND LARCENY (AUTO):
4700 block of Kenmore Avenue between 11/11 at 8:00 p.m. and 11/14 at 8:30 p.m. Stolen: 2000 Dodge Caravan, red.
