ROBBERY:
1737 King Street 1/8 11:02 a.m. The suspect entered the bank approached a teller. The suspect, armed with a rifle, demanded money and the victim complied. The suspect then fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's, about 5'07" tall, with a medium complexion and a mustache, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and shiny dark-colored jogging-style pants.
500 block of North Armistead Street 11/8 9:15 p.m. The victim, a 24-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking when a suspect grabbed her and pushed her to the ground. He brandished a knife and demanded the victim's money. The suspect grabbed the victim's purse and got into a black SUV parked nearby. The vehicle, driven by a second suspect, then drove away. Medics treated the victim at the scene for scrapes. The armed suspect is described as a black male, 30, 6'-6'2", with a thin build, short hart, and wearing a black coat and black pants. The suspect driving the SUV is described as a black male, 30-35, 5'9", and wearing a black coat.
