ROBBERY:

400 block of North Van Dorn Street 2/8 5:45 a.m. Victim, a 46-year old Alexandria woman, was walking when the suspect approached her from behind. He shoved her, grabbed her purse and then ran toward Holmes Run Parkway. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30, 5’10”-6’1”, 170-180 pounds, and wearing a brown coat and black pants.
