BURGLARY/ARREST:

300 block of Hume Avenue 2/22 5:22 a.m. Victim, a 41-year old Alexandria woman, reports that the suspect entered her residence while she was sleeping. The victim was awakened by noise and observed the suspect in her house. The victim then went to a neighbor’s house and summoned police. When the suspect exited the house the neighbor, an off-duty Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent, confronted him. After a foot pursuit, the special agent and another neighbor took him into custody. Police charged Stuart A. Dean, 53, of 512 East Alexandria Avenue with Burglary. (Photo attached)
