ROBBERY:
300 block of North Howard Street 3/7 6:15 p.m. Victim, a 22-year-old Alexandria woman, was walking to her apartment when the suspect approached her from behind. The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse, pointed a pistol at her and demanded that she let go. The victim was not injured. The suspect was last seen running on North Howard Street toward Raleigh Avenue on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30, 5’06” to 5’10”, medium build, with a goatee. He was wearing dark-colored clothing, including a baseball cap.
800 block of Four Mile Road 3/7 9:45 p.m. Victim, a 25-year-old Alexandria man, was walking at the listed location when three suspects exited a vehicle and approached him. The suspects knocked the victim to the ground, where they proceeded to punch and kick him repeatedly. They then took his wallet and fled in their vehicle. The victim received minor injuries. The suspects were last seen in a vehicle described only as a red mini-van on West Glebe Road. The suspects are described as black males, 25 to 30. One was wearing a black down jacket and one was wearing a white down jacket.
