BURGLARY-ARREST:
1800 block of West Abingdon Drive 4/1 at 11:57 a.m. An officer investigating a bicycle theft observed two suspects inside the storage area of a residence. When the officer attempted to speak with them, both suspects fled and one dropped bicycle tires as he ran. Additional officers responded to the area and both suspects were located nearby and arrested. Robert Sullivan, 27, of 817 12th Street NE, Washington, D.C., was charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglarious Tools, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Obstruction of Justice. James Washington, 24, of 4242 14th Street NE, Washington, D.C., was charged with Burglary and Obstruction of Justice.
BURGLARY
1400 block of North Highview Lane between 3/30 at 10:00 a.m. and 3/31 at 9:00 p.m. Someone gained entry to the residence by undetermined means. Once inside, the suspect stole clothing and jewelry.
2351 Eisenhower Avenue between 3/30 at 5:00 p.m. and 3/31 at 7:00 a.m. Someone forced entry to the storage area at a construction site. Once inside, the suspect stole power tools.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
100 block of Dale Street 4/1 between 12:20 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Stolen: 1999 Toyota Sienna, mini-van, grey.
100 block of South West Street 3/30 between 1:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Stolen: 1987 Chevrolet S-10, pick-up truck, blue.
5300 block of Knole Court between 3/29 at 10:00 p.m. and 3/30 at 8:45 a.m. Stolen: 2000 Ford Crown Victoria, 4 door, brown.
