ROBBERY/ARREST:

300 block of South Whiting Street. 08/12 at 11:44 P.M. The victim, a 19 year-old Alexandria woman, reports that two unknown suspects approached her in a parking lot. The suspects brandished a knife, demanded personal property and fled. Officers on the scene, assisted by a K-9 team, apprehended one suspect a short time later. Eduardo Contreras, 26, of 101 South Whiting Street in Alexandria was arrested and charged with Robbery from Person, Resisting Arrest and Drunk in Public. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25, 5’10” and 160 lbs.

5300 block of Holmes Run Parkway. Between 08/13 at 10:00 A.M. and 08/14 at 6:46 P.M.

Stolen: 1995 Honda Accord, 4-door, green.
