DAILY CRIME REPORT

BURGLARY:
99 South Bragg Street. 09/26 between 12:00 P.M. and 4:15 P.M. An unknown suspect entered a hotel room without force. Once inside, the suspect removed cash and personal property.
GRAND LARCENY (AUTO)/ARREST:
5400 block of Richenbacher Avenue. 9/26 1:30 P.M. The victim, an 82 year-old Alexandria woman, reported that her car was taken from in front of her house. This offense is related to the Robbery reported yesterday at the same location. Officers located the car a short distance away. After a short surveillance the suspect, in both offenses, was observed returning to the car. He was taken into custody without incident. Police charged an 18 year-old Alexandria man with Robbery and the listed offense. No identifying information is being released at this time pending further investigation.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO:
4500 block of Strutfield Lane. Between 09/25 at 9:00 P.M. and 09/26 at 7:50 A.M.
Stolen: 2004 Mercedes-Benz ML350, SUV, black.
