Intersection of King Street and Commonwealth Avenue. 10/03 at 11:20 P.M. Victims, 19 year-old and 21 year-old Alexandria men, report that two unknown suspects fired a BB gun at them from a passing vehicle. One victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of a non life-threatening injury. The vehicle, described as a white Acura, was last seen southbound on Commonwealth Avenue. The suspects are described only as black males.
300 South Washington Street. 10/04 at 11:20 A.M. Officers responded to the business for a report of a suspect attempting to cash a forged check. While attempting to detain the suspect he became violent. Two police officers sustained non-life threatening injuries. They transported themselves to an area hospital where they were treated and released. Police charged Tyshawn S. Carr, 31, with Forgery, Uttering, Assaulting a Police Officer and Impeding with Force.
