Purpose:
  The City of Alexandria, Department of Finance, Purchasing Division is seeking proposals from interested and qualified individuals to contract with the City to provide supplemental staffing for Buyer, Contracts Officer, and Contract Administrator positions with the Purchasing Division as independent contractors.

  It shall be the vendor's responsibility to contact the Purchasing Division with questions regarding this solicitation, in writing, no later than 4:00AM August 28, 2012. Inquiries received after this date and time will not be considered. Written questions may be faxed to the attention of Eleanor Foddrell, Buyer III at 703/838-6493. Verbal questions are not permitted.

  NOTE: THIS IS AN OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT USED TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING APPLICANT INVENTORIES NEEDED TO FILL VACANCIES IN BUYERS, CONTRACT OFFICERS, AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATORS POSITIONS WITH INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS. FIRST DEADLINE TO SUBMIT POPOSALS: SEPTEMBER 10, 2007 at 4:00 P.M., LOCAL TIME AND FINAL DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS: AUGUST 28, 2012 at 4:00 P.M., LOCAL TIME
